Rembrandt Hotel London
London
The Rembrandt was initially commissioned in the late 19th century to accompany the globally-renowned shopping department, Harrods. Today, it sees itself rubbing shoulders with London's Victoria & Albert Museum as well. Indeed, the rest of London's hottest areas are easily accessible thanks to the closeness of the South Kensington Tube stop. Within a mile you'll find one of the coolest museums in London, Natural History Museum, one of London's most beautiful park, Hyde Park, and the city's theatre-clogged West End. Beyond, only a couple of miles on, you'll find Buckingham Palace, Westminster and the parliamentary district of London. In between all of the outstanding and iconic city sights, some fantastic bars and restaurants await.
Thanks to a recent overhaul of the entire hotel, the décor now blends Edwardian class with modern contemporary styles. A fitness centre and massage facilities are on offer for those looking to relax and keep fit. For the businessmen there are meeting rooms, for those after beauty treatment, check out the salon, and for all of us, the remarkable concierge service. Complimentary breakfast is laid out for guests every morning, meanwhile the Masters restaurant offers a British contemporary menu, and the Conservatory deals in lighter bites. Afternoon tea is also available in the lounge, where you'll also find a fully-stocked bar.
There are 195 rooms in The Rembrandt, and each comes with a satellite telly, phones, alarm clocks and hairdriers as standard.
