Brilliant metal bar in the heart of Camden. Always good tunes on the airwaves and very often a band. Prices are good for London, staff are friendly as are the customers, it's easy going and easy to start up a conversation. With so many band posters up it's hard not to find something in common!
This is what a metal bar should be IMO. Widespread selection of booze. Awesome music. Met some nice people. Also nice space outside. Also they let me charge my phone.
The bar staff were wonderfully efficient and gloriously unbothered - the sort of people who'll get you exactly what you need without unnecessary fuss. The music was chaotically splendid, bouncing between genres and decades like a spell gone slightly sideways. Atmosphere-wise, it felt less like a bar and more like coming home to your favourite coven. Dark, welcoming, a little wild, and exactly as it should be 🖤
Fun pub with loads of character. Drinks of all kinds. Bands playing last weekend for desertfest were a treat. Great atmosphere inside. Can be a little hard to get served especially if solo.
What a great alternative venue this is. The General Manager Chris creates such an inclusive environment along with all the bar staff (Keiran and Juliana are notable mentions). Besides playing amazing music, the community vibe brings me back time and time again. Honestly if you are visiting Camden it dropping in here and having a pint is a must do!
