Great experience if you are not petrified of heights and noises 😂 glad I gave it a go but for me I wouldn't do it again.. too much of a scardy cat! Daughter absolutely loved it though and the views were great (when I could look!)

Ride is okay but feels shorter for prise that you pay . Prefer night time to see aeroplane lineup and city lights

Thoroughly enjoyed this! We went early, so pretty quiet. We had our own gandala. There was no wait getting on but it looked rather busy as we got off. The views were nice. The ride was smooth. It is a short journey over the river. It was great. Very glad we did it.

The cable car at the Greenwich Peninsula is definitely worth experiencing. Personally, I prefer it to the London Eye because the journey feels more dynamic and exciting. Since the cable cars are constantly moving, you get different views on both the outward and return journeys, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. One thing I really liked is that the cable cars feel quite private and personal. You usually ride with the people you came with, so you don’t have to share with strangers. I did a solo trip and had the entire cable car to myself, which made the experience even more peaceful and enjoyable. The views are fantastic. You get a clear look at the River Thames, the surrounding coastline, and the ongoing development across the peninsula. On a clear day, you can see surprisingly far across London, and it gives you a real sense of the scale of the city. Another great feature is that if you’ve paid for a return journey, you don’t necessarily have to get off at the other side. You can simply remain seated and enjoy the ride back again, which is perfect if you mainly want to relax and take in the views.

It is a unique and unprecedented experience either if you visit alone or with family. The station is so well organised, it is safe and it gives you magical views from high up in the sky. Kids were flabbergasted! It lasts about 20 minutes, if you go one way, and it is quite affordable :it cost us £24.50 for 3 kids and 2 adults. You can then use the Elisabeth line from the docks to get back to the city centre. It is a beautiful add on to a day out in Greenwich. Don't miss it.
