Always enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks are spot on, and the staff work incredibly hard. George always makes us feel welcome and provides excellent service, even when the pub is really busy. He’s friendly, professional and always has a smile on his face. Can’t recommend this place enough and we’ll definitely be back.
I’ve lived around corner from the Bucks Head for ages but only just today set foot inside today! On a hot day this place has great air con! Gamma Ray on tap was welcomed! I went for the healthiest thing on the menu - a tandoori chicken bowl. I wasn’t expecting much but to my surprise it was excellent. Fresh tender chicken pieces and a nice selection of budda bowl type ingredients including quinoa, chickpeas, edamame and roasted veg. The kitchen clearly know what they’re doing here. Will be back!
Got the Caesar burger what is a crispy coated chicken, garlic and herb sauce, lettuce and Italian cheese and a drink for 9.5 pounds. A decent chicken sandwich that could have had a touch more seasoning. The fries needed a little salt but were good. Everything came out hot which was nice. I would eat here again.
Lovely little pub with a charming, dinky little rooftop terrace. The bartender was so lovely! She asked us where we were in from and it turned out to not be that far really than where she's from. She made us feel so welcome and it felt like she actually enjoyed talking to us. Honestly the best member of bar staff I've come across in years. Didn't catch her name but she's tall, mid-dark brown hair and from Scarborough. Great experience 😊
The staff were incredibly kind. I made a mess by spilling my beer, and they were so nice that they brought me another one for free. They were extremely friendly, and the food looks very good too. Thank you!
