Me and my partner came in had a few drinks and ordered food two items were not on my partners plate when it arrived! Nothing said when i ordered regards this , and my meal surprise two smaller items not on the plate ,we paid good money for our meals when i questioned this i was told " sorry we dont have these items in stock was offered a extra side, for four items missing on two meals , why was this not mentioned on order that 1) planting not ripe to serve! 2) no mac n cheese on first meal.... then no pepers or mint yogurt on second meal once again staff were hoping we didnt notice i guess? Doubt you will reply, but i wonder is this a policy charge for food and not supply all that the menu says to say money and most of the time it would go unnoticed?
Came here to watch the champions league final, place was full of fans and atmosphere was great, there is some pool tables upstairs which we had a few games on before the match. There is plenty of TVs around the bar to watch from wherever you're sat however the TVs upstairs didn't not have any sound. The drinks were lacking at first but then more were provided and the price for them was average for a pub in the area. However, for a cider fan there was little choice.
A lively, unpretentious pub perfect for casual meetups and catching live sports. It offers an energetic atmosphere with plenty of screens, a solid tap selection, and affordable, comforting pub grub. Its popularity means excellent value and daily deals, but be aware that it can get excessively loud and crowded during peak hours or major matches. Overall, it is a fantastic, reliable spot for a vibrant pint and a good burger!
