After gathering at the meeting point, your tour guide will take you on an exploration of London’s major landmarks. Following the tour, you will also explore the Houses of Parliament. You will start with a walking tour of the history, culture, and legends of London, one of Europe’s most-loved cities. You'll begin by heading through Green Park to Buckingham Palace, before then moving on to Westminster, Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben. Following that, you will proceed to the London Bridge area to see Shakespeare’s Globe Theater, the HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London. Following all that, you will head to the Houses of Parliament, which is one of the centers of politics in the United Kingdom. The Palace of Westminster has been a Grade I listed building since 1970 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. You will explore Parliament and walk in the footsteps of past and present Kings, Queens, Prime Minsters, and influential politicians. Find out how UK Parliament works as you travel through the Commons Chamber and the Lords Chamber, and follow in the footsteps of the Queen at the State Opening. You will also be inspired by Westminster Hall, a building which is almost 1,000 years old.
