Oliver's Jazz Bar
London

I had an uncomfortable experience at Oliver’s Jazz Bar in Greenwich. Every time I ordered a drink, the staff member would repeatedly emphasise the price out loud, even though the prices were clearly displayed on the menu and I was already paying by card. It wasn’t just a simple “that’s £10 please”—the amount was repeated in a way that felt unnecessary. What made me uncomfortable was that I didn’t notice the same interaction with other customers. As a result, I left feeling as though I was being treated with suspicion or as if I needed extra reminding to pay, despite giving no reason for that. Whether or not that was the intention, it made me feel singled out and unwelcome. Only good experience was the music. I hope the team reflects on how customers are made to feel and ensures everyone is treated consistently and with respect.
Great place tucked away in Greenwich. Staff really nice and the Jazz band we saw were brilliant. Drinks at reasonable price. So what’s not to like
Cosy little jazz bar, we've only been once and it was a Wed night and really quiet, the band was decent, nothing spectacular but fun for a local gig! £10 for the tunes and I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the margarita, considering the bar looks a little ramshackle and the menu is small, it was lovely. Will return every so often I think, it's worth it.
Best little Jazz Club in the Uk Tucked away on a street corner down an almost hidden doorway. Feels like stepping back in time in the best way possible. Superkool Host serving spirits and beers from behind a tiny but jazz club perfect bar. The main room is low red and cosy. Looking over the stage area. The jazz players that got up and joined together seeming effortlessly (only just meeting) played modern jazz standards with gusto. This is now on my alway visit list for London .
Fantastic cellar bar and stage area, cosy and intimate and the Sunday night musicians were excellent.
