Wonderful restaurant just off Trafalgar Square. Staff are fabulous! Alay took care of us, checked back frequently and made sure we were happy. We had English Pull Beers and the bartender saw that my husband's wasn't 'clearing" proper. So he came to our table, said he wasn't happy with the look, took it away and drew him a new one! Food was awesome - Admiralty Pie and Fish and Chips. Portions are sizeable and delicious. We specifically came back here while in transit from Liverpool to Heathrow...dragging our bags and navigating hundreds of tourists in high heat ... yeah! It's that good.
All the staff were so friendly. Even though it was a busy Saturday lunchtime, Eric checked in on our table often and took great care of us. The fish and chips, roast chicken, kids' meat pie, and even the dessert were all delicious, and the pub's atmosphere combined with the staff's service made it an even better experience.
We needed a quick lunch during our walking tour this day. We were greeted by a friendly staff member and we're able to put our order in. There were gluten-free options available and unfortunately, one of them was gone, but we were able to figure out something else out. Everyone was satisfied with their food. The kids, fish and chips took a bit longer than the rest of the food, but we still got out on time. We would recommend stopping in for a little break from your tour and a bit of English cuisine.
We were seated quickly. Our waitress was prompt and on point. Food was out quickly, it was hot and delicious. Highly recommend! Lastly; A big shout out to Jordan - she is an “A” player no nonsense get it done young lady.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and service in this pub. The interior is incredibly decorated, cozy, and comfortable. The staff are also attentive and kind. The food wasn’t my favorite, but we might not have ordered the best items.
