One of the better pubs I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in London. Service was great! Special shoutouts to Shubhi, Bel and Ajan who were all incredibly patient considering my difficult order.
Nice place - full of film students and interesting people. But is not grungy like you would expect from this area. Clean and fresh decor. Fairly expensive beers but overall a great experience.
The Thirsty Bear is a fun and unique pub in London, just a short walk from the South Bank. What makes this place stand out is the innovative self-service system where you can pour your own beer from taps at the table and order food or drinks directly through an iPad. It’s a great concept that adds something different to the usual pub experience. The atmosphere is lively, especially on match days with multiple screens showing live sports. They also have a good selection of craft beers, cocktails, and classic pub food, making it a nice spot to relax with friends after exploring the area. The staff were friendly and the vibe was energetic. Overall, a great place for a casual drink, watching sports, and enjoying a modern twist on the traditional London pub experience.
Went Friday night. Nice modern drinking hole with cocktails, food, crackling on offer and decent selection of beers. £24 for 2 x long island iced teas which is a nice fortifying beverage any time of year, anytime if day. Quiet music and people having a good time. Some tables have 'en suite' beer taps - you open a tab and pour your own at the table. Perfect 😁
