Camden Town Station (Stop Y)
London
Avis
Pan handler central, you can watch the great unwashed nip in and out of Marks with their loot, or contemplate a street that has seen better times. The Buses go North to Hampstead and beyond, or North East to Islington, Tottenham, further to places lost in the mist of time. Camden's once rich night-life is largely a thing of the past, the market a lacklustre collection of tat, for punters with no money. Street vendors claiming to sell recreational drugs are about as bold here than anywhere in the country. The high street part where this stop is centred is about as junky as it is possible to be, the TK max yuk, kind of drives the point home. On the plus side, plenty of fast food joints in spitting distance, if you spit you will fit in with the grifters in Camden, a Pret and Marks do Gluten Free sandwiches. The image is one I made on the computer, that is the shops in the background, Hippies were here long before the Punks and before them piano crooners, time goes on. Bust stop Y Camden Town Station (the tube) a metaphysical journey past, present and future. The image I did in photoshop and Corel painter, I softened it using Gemini nano banana, I really do not know why they insist on such stupid names, suddenly they're all in competition with Herr Musk. Anyway, the image suits, Bohemian sans Rhapsody. Bus stop Y, a busy dirty street, a vigorous reminder of where you would rather be, no place does that better than a BUS-STOP.
