Second time there, had the seafood platter and fish, flavours did not disappoint and gets better every time. Oysters were fresh as always with good condiments. Great intimate atmosphere upstairs and vibe on a summer’s evening in NW London.
Me and my boyfriend visited for lunch in the dining room on Sunday. I’m vegan, and although I thought I’d flagged this on the booking it hadn’t come through. The team were amazing however - I would have been happy with bread (as I should have called ahead!) but they spoke with the chef and made a delicious risotto for me and adapted the asparagus. My partner said the fish stew was delicious too. A huge thank you to the lovely team for accommodating me at such short notice, with particular thanks to our server Abbe. Highly recommend! (And a good Guinness and great atmosphere too)
Suchhhh a cute pub. Loved the decor and the service was super friendly. The fish stew had so much depth of flavour and loved dipping the soda bread in the stew! The mushrooms were the highlight though
An amazing experience with Guinness and fresh oysters on our very first stop in London. Mr. Petros welcomed us and treated us like family. Oysters were delightful, I suggest to eat them the way they advise to (shallot vinegar and mild tobacco sauce) for an extremely intense experience. So so wonderful. Definitely worth a visit!
We‘ve spend a lovely Thursday evening at the cow. Everyone was kind and polite. I had the cow special ( 1 pint of Guinness with 6 oysters for £30) the oysters were one of the best I’ve ever had. The signature dish (fish soup) was absolutely great and rich. Little spicy what I loved. The bread with the spread was delicious. My friend had the pea risotto. Quote: “best cocked risotto outside of Italy”. After the dinner we went downstairs for another Guinness, which was inside and outside nice to enjoy. We’ll come back 100%!
