Steak & Ale Pie with charred cabbage, thick chips and gravy. Great classic meal. Simple & tasty. Great traditional pub with good service and range of drinks. Certainly worth the visit. Would come again.
We visited Two Chairmen near Buckingham Palace for breakfast in October 2025, right after watching the morning parade, and we were actually the first customers of the day. We had fish and chips, which were freshly cooked. A few other dishes were also good. Even though it’s a pub, the owner kindly offered us hot tea on the house, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, especially as visitors from Thailand. A simple but memorable stop. We’re glad we came across this place.
We’ve been coming back here for the past 4 years in a row and it NEVER disappoints me the fish n chips are always so delicious the onion rings were very tasty and the mushroom chilli that my mom got was amazing according to her, the beer is so good. The service is top tier (especially Natalie) if you want an authentic English pub in the heart of London this is were to go! 🍟🍺⚽️🏴🇬🇧
This is quite the historic pub to drop in, watch a game and grab a bite and pint. It’s a quaint spot with limited seating. You will order everything at the bar and they will deliver your food when it’s ready. The food was good. It was warm but not Hot. The breading on the Fish and Chips was great but fish was over cooked and a touch dry. A shame because fish had great potential. Mac and cheese was great. We got the garlic bread with it and my wife said it was the star of the show. Wings came out very fresh. There was a real buzz about the place. They were busy throughout the time we were there. Staff was friendly. We would absolutely go back. It was also on the path as we were out seeing the sights. We had a great time!
I finally got that fish and chips I needed when coming to London. I was recommended this place by some locals and was glad to stop in for lunch. You choose a seat and then order food and beverages at the bar but they bring your food to your table. It feels like being in an old gentleman's club or something when you're inside. We each ordered a pint while we checked out the menu. Of course I had to get my fish and chips while my sister decided on a steak and ale pie. We both enjoyed our food and drinks while enjoying the rain outside. Great stop on our trip.
