The Hole In The Wall

Love this pub. The staff are great especially the tall geezer with the beard. Always feel I’m safe when he’s around because he’s making sure there’s no trouble or weirdos coming in to tell shoplifted bags of meat.
Just a hop-skip-and-jump from London Waterloo Station. Famous for its beers (many superb offerings), excellent prices, and its hospitable staff. The decor and so on aren't anything to write home about, but that's not to say there's anything wrong. My first visit, well pleased, and I shall be a frequent visitor whenever I'm using London Waterloo Station.
A CAMRA Good Beer Guide pub set in the railway arches to the front of Waterloo Station entrance. Check both front and rear bar areas for full ale selection. Flic ordered the Five Points bitter. Liza an Aperini. Real cider also available.
Surprisingly fast service for a large pub. The staff vary in helpfulness, one suggested it would be better we got drinks from the other bar and that our food enquiry was better served using the QR code. The barman who served me was very engaging and helpful. The prices were surprisingly reasonable.
