Ronnie Scott’s is, in my opinion, the best place in London to listen to jazz. The quality of the musicians and bands they bring in is consistently outstanding, and the sound inside the venue is impeccable. One of the things I appreciated most was the audience. People are genuinely there to listen, so the room tends to remain respectful and quiet during the performances, which makes a huge difference and allows you to fully focus on the music. The service is also very efficient, even when the club is busy, and the food was better than expected. The burger was sensational and a great option if you want to have dinner while enjoying the show. It is worth knowing that you normally have to queue outside and wait before entering, as happens at many traditional jazz clubs. It is not a problem, but it is useful to be prepared, especially if the weather is cold or rainy. A legendary venue with excellent sound, world-class musicians, attentive service, and a truly serious jazz atmosphere. Essential for any jazz lover visiting London.

Ronnie Scott’s is one of those rare London institutions that still feels as special as its reputation suggests. Tucked away in Soho, it delivers an atmosphere that’s both intimate and electric, the kind of place where you immediately feel like you’re part of something timeless. The music is, of course, the main event, and it never disappoints. Whether you’re seeing world-class jazz musicians or up-and-coming talent, the standard is consistently exceptional. The acoustics are spot on, and the setting allows you to properly experience the performance, close enough to feel every note. The club itself strikes a perfect balance between old-school charm and polished professionalism. Low lighting, close-set tables and a sense of history give it a real character, without ever feeling dated. It’s refined but not stuffy, with just enough buzz to keep the energy up throughout the night. Drinks and food are solid, but they’re secondary to the experience, which is exactly how it should be. Service is smooth and unobtrusive, letting the focus stay firmly on the stage. An iconic venue that absolutely lives up to the hype.

My favorite place to enjoy live jazz in London. The atmosphere is intimate, elegant and full of character, making it a very special venue for an evening out. We had a delicious dinner, which made the experience even better. The highlight of the night was the performance by the Harold López-Nussa Trio. Their music was outstanding: contemporary Latin jazz with a strong Cuban influence, full of rhythm, energy and sophistication. The combination of jazz improvisation with Cuban sounds made the concert vibrant and memorable. A wonderful jazz club with great food, excellent live music and a unique atmosphere. Highly recommended.

What an outstanding venue. We went to see both shows of the Kings Singers. My partner has a disability and Jackie and the whole seciruty team helped him navigate the stairs and seating with ease. Very thankful. The food was great and the wait staff were very aware of not intruding upon the performance while attending to the patrons. The salmon and the grilled chicken are both recommended highly.

My partner booked a show on Valentines and had an amazing set. The ambiance at this place was amazing and incredible. Would recommend booking tickets online as we saw a long line at the door and even when we left around midnight there were still people queuing to get in so you'll be unlucky if you don't book in advance!
