Rutul and Nihaal were exceptional wait staff!! They recommended excellent choices of dishes. The crackling spinach , sticky sesame vegetables , lamb chops , chilli chicken , Bombay prawns were all fantastic!! Highly recommend when you’re in covent garden / theatre district to eat pre show
I had the BEST birthday lunch at Fatt Pundit and cannot recommend it enough - the halal food menu, hospitality and vibes were 10/10. HUGE shout out to the brilliantly attentive Nihal and CD! I had a lovely surprise at the end of the meal with complimentary Gulab Jamun, a hand written birthday card and Polaroid pic to remember the occasion! I can’t wait to come back again and thank you again Fatt Pundit team for everything ❤️
Authentic Kolkata Chinese We had a wonderful experience celebrating our wedding anniversary here. From the starters to the desserts, every dish was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The food quality and presentation were excellent, making the entire meal truly memorable. A special thank you to Mac and Rutul for their warm hospitality and for surprising us with a lovely anniversary card, it was such a thoughtful gesture that made our celebration even more special. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for amazing Indo-Chinese food and exceptional service. We will definitely be back!
Had an absolutely wonderful meal at this restaurant today. Read lots of great reviews and understand the hype. Welcoming staff and stunning food. Both Rutul and Nihal were polite and friendly waiters who were very efficient with our food and drink coming out super quick. Had the duck pancakes which were a great combination of sweet glaze and spicy sauce. We got the lamb chops which had a great barbecue taste and were complimented with a great mint sauce. Also got a selection of other dishes including the highly rated crackling spinach, tamarind potatoes and sticky sesame vegetables. All were incredible, good portions and so delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough. Will be going back again.
The food was great, but what really made our experience special was the service. Rutul, our server, was absolutely lovely — friendly, helpful and made us feel very much at home. As it was our first time, he gave us some great recommendations on what to try, which we really appreciated. We didn’t have a reservation, but they kindly managed to accommodate us at 6pm, with the understanding that they would need the table back by 7pm. An hour was enough for us, and even with the time limit, we never felt rushed at all. They made sure our food was served together so we had plenty of time to relax and enjoy our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. Another server, Snema, also looked after us and was very helpful. Overall, great food and genuinely warm, welcoming service. We left very happy and satisfied, would definitely come back!
