This was our first visit and I cannot wait to come back. I arranged a Friday evening meal here (22nd May) for my daughter's 21st Birthday (which was the next day), as her boyfriend lives locally. The food was absolutely delicious (Carbonara snd Lasagne) and authentic with generous portions and very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier or helpful and made it a truly special evening. They made a fuss of my daughter by bringing out a lovely complimentary cheesecake with a lit candle and got the whole place singing "Happy Birthday".....it was brilliant and the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. Great artifacts and antiques to look at also, which we loved. ❤ Thank you so much we had a wonderful evening. ❣️🥰
Called in without booking last night (Sunday). Had delicious authentic home cooked Italian food served with humour and promptness. A really good value meal. Would definitely seek out next time we are in Greenwich.
My date recommended this spot for the "home feel" Italian food after a walk in the park with 🐶 (Dog Friendly). I started with a cider at the bar. It was busy so took about 10-15 mins to get a table, which was fine. Great people watching spot plus tons of unique decor to keep an eye out for. The owner is very friendly and unforgettably sweet! We didn't love the bottle of red wine they recommended but we got through it. The glasses were quite thick and not clear so it was harder to see the legs however it is a pub so wasn't expecting that high end feel but the food made up for it! I was going to get the lasagna but our waiter recommended the carbonara because it's a customer favorite. It's a lot better with a ton of black pepper if you want to kick it up a bit. Living locally, this is one of our favourite pubs in Greenwich, and perhaps the best for food. Pietro and family provided a truly Italian family welcome and the food is freshly cooked, authentic and reasonably priced. Live music on Sunday afternoons. Always a lovely atmosphere!
An absolute gem of a pub. The family who run the place are so friendly, courteous and ensure you feel like you are at friends or family for great food and drinks😃...the food will blow your mind😋😋...the most authentic Italian flavors and freshness. We had the roast beef on bolognese sauce, simply out of this world! The carpaccio and squid rings were outstanding and they make an awesome carbonara. I cannot recommend this pub enough and I am certainly visiting many many more times. Kudos to Pedro and family for running a truly amazing pub, thank you guys for this gem!
