The rooms were old and so warm. Even with 2 fans all night it was unbearable. Toilets were not very clean. Didn't feel comfortable as a lone female to go downstairs to eat/drink as the pub was full of rowdy men watching football
The hostel is clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful. There’s a train station close by, and lots to see within walking distance too. Check-in was easy and flexible, wasn’t a problem that I arrived quite late. I was able to store my bags at the pub for the day after checking out which helped a lot! Would recommend if you’re looking for an affordable stay in London.
Location is fine though the streets themselves aren’t the cleanest outside, an average to slightly below average hostel. The rooms were alright though not much space for personal belongings/ charging and the bathroom on the top floor is the only one up there but it was fine. Expected quality for the reasonable price. Met some nice people also staying here.
For me this was just a place to sleep, and I did that well enough. The rooms were quite warm & stuffy but the showers were freezing, so I guess they accidentally got the balance right. Other guests were quiet and respectful. Morning staff member was kinda grumpy and made me fetch my own left luggage but then, I wasn't there to enjoy a five star hotel experience. Everything was clean but showers could do with more places to put things, they're basically tiny wet rooms.
I visited this pub for storing our suitcases while we went out for our last day in London. Great 2 minute location to Euston station. Polite staff. Easy to find, to use, to pay for, to store and to collect from, as well as convenient to travel into central London from. Hostel rooms available at a great price here too.
