The Levin
London
Sitting pretty right in the middle of classy Knightsbridge, the Levin Hotel is full of charm and appeal. It certainly offers something a little different to its London counterparts with the inclusion of a champagne bar in each room. The décor is bright and welcoming, with an eye-catching contemporary lobby lounge, bathed in Tiffany blue, Art Nouveau furniture and striking light fittings. All this only reflects the rest of the hotel's attitude to modern chic design.
In terms of things to do, we recommend relaxing with a book from the Penguin Classics library in the lobby, or popping next door for some vital shopping in Harrods. Then, return for a light lunch in the brasserie paired with a glass of bubbling Sauvignon Blanc direct from the owner's vineyard in the Loire Valley.
All twelve bedrooms at the Levin come with air conditioning, alarm clock, bath tub and bathrobes. The cable/satellite televisions are standard, as well the desks, direct dial telephone, hairdriers and minibars.
Elsewhere around the hotel guests will find a barbers/beauty shop, coffee shop, convenience store, lifts and gift shop. There's also a lounge and news stand which make a perfect combination for relaxation and catching up on events.
