I spent my birthday here solo today, and I was so moved by the incredible hospitality! When the staff，Natalia found out it was my birthday, they kindly treated me to a gorgeous complimentary drink (a delicious passion fruit cocktail!). The place itself is absolutely stunning with its gold ceiling accents, chic decor, and amazing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for making my solo birthday feel so special and memorable. Highly recommended!
Visited for the Welcome Lunch menu, advertised as stunning price and value. 19.95 for 3 courses, with a complimentary coffee/ tea. Honestly it’s the best deal, especially in Mayfair. Can’t fault it. Ordered scallop, cod fish and chocolate mousse. the waiter repeated to confirm. However, the experience went so disappointing the fish main I received was thin and tiny, compared to the girl next to me, whose fish is 3 times thicker and bigger. the control over portion being served is highly questionable imo. when I asked the waiter, he said oh it’s different fish, but… it’s “Cod” written on all menu? then I added a lobster pasta (40£) waiter assured me that the portion will be up to standard, only later to realise that the lobster being served is dry, and unfrozen improperly that I can taste it. and when the dessert finally arrived… they served the coconut option that contains mango, which I have been upfront honest that I am severely allergic to mango upon ordering… other than that, for the food they do right, it’s good. but for the ones they don’t do good, then the answer is rather apparent.
Talk about elegance... Isabel Mayfair is glamour and a lively Latin vibe in the heart of London. The décor is an eclectic, yet, by Mayfair standards comparatively subtle mix of Art Deco, Beaux Arts, Chinoiserie, and modern design elements. A large bar dominates the centre of the room, with plenty of room between the bar stools and the dining tables. The black ceiling is covered in golden, hollow hemispheres roughly the size of lampshades. Our waiters were very helpful in answering questions about the menu and making recommendations. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our dinner at Isabel. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the lovely staff, and the service remained top-notch throughout our visit. The atmosphere is glamorous but more subtle. Most importantly, the food was excellent and beautifully presented, it's truly memorable. Would absolutely recommend to someone looking to have a special night out in London. Will always keep coming back!
We had a fantastic late night dinner at Isabel. The interior is absolutely stunning and the vibe is high. Both our drinks were excellent. My lobster pasta was both delicious and generously topped with lobster meat. And the sticky toffee pudding was so light and wonderful. Would absolutely recommend to someone looking to have a special night out in London.
