About King Ramses II
Often compared to Tutankhamun but far less mythologized, Ramses II ruled Egypt for nearly 67 years. Renowned for monument-building, military strategy, diplomacy, and fathering over 100 children, his reign left a lasting impact on Egyptian history. This exhibition reveals the story of a ruler determined to command an empire and secure his immortality.
