Start your day with early entry to St. Paul’s Cathedral. Hear the 17th-century organ once played by Mendelssohn, explore medieval relics in the crypt, and visit the tombs of notable historical figures. Note that on Sundays, entry is limited to cathedral services without guided tours.
Next, visit Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guard on scheduled days. If the ceremony is not taking place, you will still stop for photos outside the palace.
In the afternoon, explore the Tower of London, built in 1066 by William the Conqueror. Your guide will share insights about its history as you view the Crown Jewels, the White Tower, and other areas of this historic fortress at your own pace.
