Description

Join a one of our regular classes at Sunny Art Academy for a taster session in oil painting. Led by an experienced tutor, this relaxed and inspiring session lets you experience the authentic atmosphere of weekly lessons. Be introduced to the key principles of working with oils, including how to mix colors, handle brushes, and use mediums to control drying time and texture. Learn about the traditional process of building a painting in layers—from underpainting and blocking in shapes to developing detail and refining form. Whether you're new to oil painting or transitioning from another medium, this class provides a solid foundation in technique while encouraging your creative expression. Work on a subject of your choice. Your tutor will guide you throughout the session, offering personalized tips, demonstrations, and one-on-one support. With no more than 10 students per class, you’ll receive plenty of individual attention. All materials are included in this class, however, feel free to bring your own if you wish.
