We have lots of meetings here, there's a bar and a good cafe but very chilled if you want to sit at the table and work. The rules change at some point, i think it's no laptops after 6pm in the bar area (?) The staff are really nice
Probably the last cup of flat white I’ll have in London for a while. The coffee itself wasn’t particularly memorable. The milk foam was coarse, and there wasn’t much about it that stood out. But on my last full day before leaving, sitting inside the BFI with a friend, having one last coffee, one last slice of cake, watching people drift by outside, I found myself feeling something that’s hard to put into words.
We were in for a friend’s birthday the other night and George, Casey and Alessio took such good care of us - really kind, thoughtful, and attentive service. Shout-out and huge thanks to them. 🙏🏻 (And the waffle fries were delish!)
I had a fantastic experience at BFI Bar & Café. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and vibrant, especially with its Southbank location — ideal before or after a film. The service was genuinely outstanding. The team were attentive without being intrusive, efficient during busy periods, and clearly well-trained. Drinks were prepared with precision and consistency — you can tell there’s strong leadership behind the bar. The cocktails were balanced, well-presented, and delivered quickly even at peak time. What impressed me most was the professionalism of the staff. They handled volume smoothly, maintained cleanliness, and kept the energy positive throughout the service. It’s not easy to manage high footfall with that level of composure, but they made it look effortless. Great drinks, solid food offering, and a team that clearly cares about standards. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back.
