Can't comment on the food, never eaten there but a nice boozer to visit for a quick afternoon or evening pint. Also feel the vibe could be livelier when they have music and DJ in. As bar staff open and functional and friendly. The £5 pint happy hour will be a crowd pleaser and the lines must be clean on the Amstel for e.g as it was a decent pint.
We just happened to pop in because its one of the oldest pubs in Camden. We are so glad we did. Angela the new manager (and Canadian like myself) is a gem. The regulars we meet were so kind and lovely to chat with. 💕
We were there last week and the service from the manager (I think her name is Page, I’m not sure) and the staff was absolutely brilliant. They helped us, looked after us and served us the best fish and chips we had in London during the five days we spent in the city. They were kind and friendly. We’ll definitely be back in a year’s time (wink, wink).
Great little pub with friendly staff and decent prices. Didn't know what to expect given its location, but pleasantly surprised, and was playing a banging soundtrack. Great place to have a few pints and watch the world go by.
