The Earl of Lonsdale has been the perfect home for 'Thought Experiments in Pubs' for over 3 years. It continues to a wonderful home from home for our friendly meetup event! The manager, Vallan, and team behind the bar are always welcoming and accommodating and ensure we have everything we need. The dining room is spacious and comfortable and the pub is full of character. I highly recommend a visit (and even better: becoming a regular). Looking forward to our next visit!

We tried the schnitzel and the hamburgers, which were good. We also had the sausage, which came with mashed potatoes and onion rings. The decor is really typical and cozy and the service was great.
