I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one as a genuine gesture of appreciation. The food was perfectly fine, but what truly stood out was the service provided by Injamum Akib. His warm, friendly manner and genuine hospitality made a real difference to my visit. We had a pleasant conversation, and his positive attitude turned what would otherwise have been an ordinary experience into a memorable one. As a former food and beverage professional myself, I can recognise dedication, professionalism, and high spirits when I see them. Akib clearly takes pride in his work and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and valued. His service was efficient, attentive, and delivered with genuine enthusiasm. I would also like to highlight his efforts to the management team. Exceptional service deserves recognition, particularly in an industry where long hours, pressure, and daily demands can often go unnoticed. Employees who consistently maintain such high standards should be acknowledged and appreciated. Unfortunately, a manager was not available during my visit, so I was unable to convey this feedback in person. As someone who has worked in the sector, I would respectfully encourage the management team to recognise Akib’s contribution with a well-deserved gesture of appreciation. Team members like him play a significant role in creating positive customer experiences and are a real asset to the business. Thank you, Akib, for making my day a little brighter.
I came here for a birthday a month ago. I've been coming here ever since! Staff are friendly and welcoming, and Neeraj looks after us really well now we have returned many times. Drinks are good, prices are fair and I'm planning to eat here next time (I have been told the pizza are good)... but for now it's a happy place to pop in for a beer, on the roof terrace or inside. :-) cheers!!!!
What a great place!! Food was amazing and the service was really fast. We got 2 for 1 cocktails that were really good! Niraj helped us a lot during our visit. One of the vet places in Camdem!
One of my Top 5 places to visit for Sunday Roast, when I say to you that this Sunday dinner is so good it’s mouth watering. Honestly the roast carrots and roast potatoes are one of the best. There was literally nothing left on my plate like nothing 😂😂😂 cocktails were Devine, starters we had Camembert which is for 2 people that’s a lie it’s for like 4 haha and calamari. I totally advise to get the chocolate brownie as it’s an amazing finish. All in all 10/10 place to go. The staff were lovely couldn’t do enough for us especially lily shes such a sweet woman, who gave us recommendations on best things to get on the menu. What a little asset she’s is to the lock inn Camden team. Will so be back to visit again 👏🏼 impressed. Only thing I would say is that they need to improve / revamp on the seating areas apart from that incredible.

Think cosy pub vibes, relaxed atmosphere, and that elevated London #pub energy where everything just feels right. Before even getting to the mains, I couldn’t resist their famous starter 👀 🧀 Baked #Camembert in Pizza Dough 🧀 Served with honey truffle dressing & celery, this was dangerously good. Gooey, rich, indulgent, and perfect for sharing (or keeping to yourself). That honey-truffle combo is elite. For the #roasts (all served with homemade Yorkshire pudding, seasonal veg & greens): 🥩 28-Day Hung Dexter Sirloin Beef 🥩 Incredible. Juicy, tender, full of flavour, and cooked exactly how roast beef should be. Comfort food done properly. 🍗 Half Free-Range Chicken 🍗 Served with bread sauce & stuffing: classic, comforting, and so satisfying. Proper Sunday roast energy.
