Excellent pub. We used the private room for some drinks after our wedding ceremony. They fit all 18 of us in the room and the staff were very attentive to make sure we had food and drink. They were also very accommodating for us dropping off our wedding cake before hand and bringing it up so we could all have some with our family/ friends. Would definitely use again for an event in the future
I was celebrating my 40th in the private dining room which was such a lovely space to host our group of 20+. Nothing we asked for was to much and The team at The Hillgate are exceptional and catered to all our needs. Food is always 5 star and I would highly recommend this place for a casual drop in pint all the way up to celebrating in style like we did. Thank you to the whole team, especially noting Nadia and Alyshia! will be back very soon !
Fantastic first meal in London! Got the suffolk chicken leek and tarragon pie with a Guinness. Great service and great pub atmosphere.
