Wow, what an amazing pub! The food was incredible - our fish & chips and scampi were all cooked perfectly and everyone in our group of eight reallly enjoyed their meals. A special mention to Frank, who served us behind the bar. He was so friendly, ans\wered all of our questions, and provided excellent service throughout. As its our first time in London, this was a fantasic experience, and we'll definitely be recommending this pub to our friends and family back home. Thanks Frank

Decided to visit St James Park as it was a nice day. This pub is not far from the station and on the way to the park, so is very convenient for a quick stop. It is a Green King inn so tried their app to order 3 small plates and a drink but app said not available so ordered at the bar and was told food was available? So worth going to the bar first. We managed to sit back down again at table 10 which is half way down the stairs and gets some natural light which the basement tables lacked. This was lunchtime on a Saturday so pretty busy. The food came quickly and the 3 plates were ideal for a light lunch, together with a couple of spirits and mixers came to about 35 quid which for this area is not bad value. If they can sort the app issues I could be inclined to give it 5 stars.

The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, the cuisine is delectable, albeit slightly overpriced. Its location is ideal. The staff members are exceptionally courteous and professional. .
