Held a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend here and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful on the night. It was already one of my favourite pubs in London so it was no real surprise but even still. The staff made sure the night went perfectly including helping with the cake and food. I was nervous about how the night would play out but any nerves I had were immediately put at ease when I arrived and spoke to the owner of the bar Patrick. Couldn’t recommend more, not even just for a party but for any occasion - a great pint, great atmosphere and great service!
Food was nice. Staff were kind and friendly, they even let us borrow a deck of cards! Atmosphere was great. I highly recommend this pub!
Best pub food I've ever had. Ordered the pie of the day and apple pie. Pie crust was crispy, meat was tender, gravy was delicious. All of it was well cooked and well presented. Apple pie was also delicious and you get a generous amount of custard. Staff are all very attentive and kind, will definitely be back Main meal, drink and dessert £21
Fab sports pub! Really enjoy coming here when a game is on. Plenty of screens across all areas so you won’t miss any action. It does get busy so go early if you want a table. I wasn’t wowed by the food despite the menu having plenty of options but the main reason for being there was to watch rugby, so all good. I shall keep coming back as the atmosphere is great and friendly. Drinks and food all reasonably priced too.
This was very much a sports pub but a brilliant find. We were on a university ‘end of term’ pick up and this pub was round the corner so we popped in for Sunday lunch. There was rugby and football on the numerous screens but it wasn’t too loud. The food was good and promptly served. The staff were lovely which made it all a very pleasant lunch.
