Lovely relaxed atmosphere feeling in the pub. Usually when I go to a pub, I eat my meal quickly or have one drink and leave whtin about half hour regardless if I'm with someone, talking to someone or alone. Today when I went here though, I wasn't with anyone or talking to any customers, just alone drinking and eating but I felt so relaxed I bought 5 drinks (only one alcoholic), had dinner in here and stayed for exactly 4 hours.
Massive Thank you to Robbie and the team. We had our wedding here on a hot May Saturday. The team were amazing! Food was brilliant. Staff were so lovely and just made sure the day was perfect. We had family staying in the hotel and they raved about the place. Planning before the wedding was stress free and straight forward. The staff even put up some decorations for us the day of the wedding. Nothing was too much hassle. Amazing venue, amazing staff, brilliant for big events!
Nice and comfortable room, close to my business destination and to the DLR station fom LCY. Airport. Also ate luch at the pub, food was great. I must praise the professionalism and attention toward customers of Helena, a true resource they should be proud of. Well done. alex
Great location, just round the corner from frequent and fast trains to Central London. Rooms clean and comfortable, and overall good value. Pub is decent, with a good range of drinks and food, in a nice area. Staff were friendly and helpful.
