Overall it's a place for QUALITY Mediterranean food. Felt like it's time to go to Greece. Environment- Sunny space as their huge windows are the main features of the restaurant. Tables are mainly for couples and busy hours have to make do with squeezing into tables between guests. Food- Every dishes has the right amount of salt to match dishes as simple as fresh ingredients for salad. However, consistency not onpar. Kofta itself was lovely but overcooked for some which made it bitter and dry. Service- seemed under staffed. Manager guiding the only server. Don't expect immediate service as such. They took a while to clear our empty plates. Note, it was not busy. Only 4 tables of the whole restaurant kind of situation. Pricing wise- is not cheap as the portion are not hearty size. But acceptable for current market.
Highly recommended! Great food, great service, a wonderful atmosphere, and friendly staff. We ordered the fried chicken and the Marcus Breakfast. One of the nice things is that you can customize your plate based on your preferences. Everything was fresh and well prepared. I especially liked the sausage. I’m usually not a fan of sausage, but this one was well balanced, flavorful, and seasoned just right—not overly spiced. If you’re in the neighborhood, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Brother Marcus is a really cozy place with a great selection of healthy food. The coffee is amazing too. The Smoky Shakhuka was delicious with nice, fresh bread, though it had a bit of a kick that was just slightly too spicy for my personal taste The Marcus Breakfast was also really good. The service was excellent — our waitress was super nice and friendly. Even though the tables are placed really close to each other, it didn't bother us at all and we could still hear each other perfectly. Loved the experience!
Really good food and the service was amazing! We tried the dip plater and 2 vegetarian and 2 meat options! The halloumi and cabbage were to die for. The lamb kofte was great as well. For dessert we had a cherry cheesecake which was so delicious, not overly sweet!
Wow! What an incredible evening. Never been so well looked after by all the front of house staff and our waitress, Sophia. She was so attentive, professional, and welcoming, and the food was some of the best I have ever had. The atmosphere was sensational and Sophia definitely made it. 100% make a trip!
