Without a doubt, the best pizza place I’ve ever been to. The dough was absolutely incredible. perfectly crispy on the outside while staying soft and airy inside. The ingredients were top quality, and you could taste the difference in every bite. The tomato sauce had a delicious natural sweetness, the ragù was rich, intense, and full of flavor, and the ham was simply outstanding. Every single element was spot on. An absolute masterpiece from start to finish, I can’t wait to come back!
Really very good. We were a party of 5 and were able to book the night before for lunch. It was pretty busy when we arrived and were glad to have booked. The kitchen was pretty open so, from where we were sat, we could see them making our food which was nice. The pizza itself was exceptional, perhaps one of the best I have ever had. The dough was incredibly tasty, as was the tomato sauce. We had some vegans in our party, all of which said the vegan cheese was especially good.
One of the best pizza places I’ve tried! The pizza was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back every time I’m craving pizza. The only thing I’d love to see is a wider variety of toppings especially beef pepperoni. Hopefully they’ll add more options in the future. Overall, highly recommended!
Probably one of the best Neapolitan style pizzas we have had. Hands down the best pizza sauce. The crust was soft but crispy. We had a takeout for someone who couldn’t make it and it traveled well! Just a couple of mins in the Airfryer and it was perfect! Was not soggy at all. Would definitely recommend. Very warm, friendly service too from Emanuela.
The restaurant has a modern, simplistic style, although sitting downstairs next to the pizza ovens can feel a little uncomfortable because of the heat and wood-fire smoke. Of course, if you enjoy that smoky pizza-oven atmosphere, it may actually add to your experience but I am not sure… The pizzas were good. The Cheesewick was delicious, with a rich blend of cheeses, great texture, and a prominent blue cheese flavour that worked really well. The Ricordi d’Infanzia was also excellent, comforting, rich, and full of flavour. It reminded me of slow-cooked Italian home food, almost like a childhood tomato meat lasagna sauce or macaroni dish made with a hearty meat and tomato sauce. We also tried the Triple Crunch from the “pizze to share” section. It was okay. The concept seems to be more about having one heavy, loaded slice that fills you up quickly rather than a pizza you want to keep going back to, therefore the sharing concept. The hard crust and generous toppings made it feel quite heavy, so while it was interesting, it was not our favorite. Service was good and practical, and the food was generally very enjoyable. I would recommend the place,m, but I would avoid sitting too close to the ovens downstairs unless you like the heat and smoky wood-fire smell and heat. The service was ok but we ordered another pizza marguerita then waited for 20min then… I suppose they forgot to take the new order. Which can happen. Overall, a great place , with nice award winning pizzas, nice staff and good atmosphere.
