Roald Dahl's tale of young Charlie Bucket and Willy Wonka's weird and wonderful chocolate factory comes to life on the West End stage.

With a family struggling day-by-day, kind-hearted Charlie Bucket dreams of luxuries beyond his reach. Luck strikes him one day, however, when he unwittingly wins a golden ticket to Willy Wonka's factory - a colourful emporium of chocolate and sweets.

Together with his grandfather, Charlie discovers that everything at the factory is not quite as sweet as it first seemed. Witnessing the other golden ticket winners, a selection of troubled and overindulged children, meet with sticky ends Charlie uncovers Willy Wonka's true designs for the factory.

Directed by Academy Award Winner Sam Mendes and featuring unique stagecraft, this 50 year old story is revived with dazzling music by Mark Shaiman and lyrics by Scott Wittman.

Featuring a tropical chocolate garden, an army of squirrels and, of course, Willy Wonka's trusted Oompa Lumpas, this stage production can't fail to entertain.
