Explore the modern marvels that carve out the iconic London skyline, dig into the depths of what lies beneath the streets, and take a peak at what future plans and development have in store for the City of London. View and hear about iconic buildings such as The Shard, The Walkie Talkie, The Gherkin, The Lloyds Building, City Hall, Cheese Grater, Barbican and more. Each have their own interesting stories and fun facts! Discover what lies beneath the streets and how London has been shaped by monumental civil engineering projects in its history and where the cities construction is heading. Follow your guide, Sam, an experienced tour guide who has a background in the Construction Management industry in London & Sydney; on a walk through the City of London seeing some impressive modern structures. Starting on the Northern side of the Thames River, at the Sugar Quay Jetty near the Tower of London. We then make your way through The Square Mile Financial District, finishing the tour at the NLA (within The London Centre). Entry is free and you can read lots of information along with scale models of London City you can view at your leisure at the end of the tour. The tour takes approximately 2 hours, but I would allow another 15-30 minutes at the end for the NLA.
