Description
Step inside Westminster Cathedral for LUMINISCENCE, a 360° video projection concert that blends live choral music, spatial sound, and cutting-edge video mapping. As light ripples across domes and mosaics, the cathedral’s interior becomes a living canvas, shaped in real time by image and sound.
Arrive at Westminster Cathedral on Victoria Street, take your seat, and let the performance unfold all around you. Cutting-edge video mapping and spatial sound technology sculpt the spectacular architecture, transforming the building through scene after scene as the music builds. Hear works by some of classical music’s greatest composers, including Beethoven, Verdi, Debussy, Vivaldi, Bach and more, performed by the stunning Lux Aeterna choir, with a specially commissioned script by BAFTA and Olivier Award winner Tim Whitnall telling the story of London and one of its most important Cathedrals.
After approximately 50 minutes, the concert concludes inside the cathedral. You’ll step back out onto Victoria Street, a short walk from Victoria Station and nearby Underground stops, well placed to continue exploring central London.
