Description
Aaron Sorkin’s acclaimed adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird returns to Wyndham’s Theatre this summer for a strictly limited run. This seminal American novel addresses racial injustice and childhood innocence, capturing audiences on Broadway, the West End, and throughout the UK and Ireland on a sell-out tour.
Atticus Finch, a successful lawyer, promotes kindness and empathy in his children while confronting the racial tensions within his town to uncover the truth. Richard Coyle, known for roles in The Player Kings and Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore, reprises his role as Atticus Finch, following critical acclaim in the 2022 West End production.
Set in 1934 Alabama, the story is inspired by Harper Lee’s childhood. The novel has sold more than 45 million copies, won the Pulitzer Prize for Literature, and has historically faced censorship.
Critical acclaim:
- Evening Standard: 'ALL RISE for this powerfully uplifting theatrical event'
