Cafe OTO
London
Erin Wasson famously gaffed her way through a guest column on the coolest places for a meal in London, and listed OTO in the top ten. Though in all honesty, the hip don't come to OTO for the cookies, or if they do, they certainly stay for the music.
The warehouse space is devoted to alternative and inspiring live music and fills the gap in London's informal art music calendar that was always a little underwhelming until 2008 when OTO opened its doors.
OTOProjects, which is also a registered charity and not-for-profit aspect of the collective, organise experimental community projects and encourage community works or performances.
Performance prices range from £8.00 on the door to £25.00 in advance, depending on the act.
