Reviews
Went to a gig here, so only commenting on that. The venue is nice and small, with the stage at a good height so you get a decent view from most points. Sound mix was good, and the lighting is more extensive that most venues this size, which is nice. There was some confusion at the queuing situation, so it would be good if there were more staff to sort that out.
We hired our staff social here for over 200 guests. The offering and service was all top quality, bar staff friendly and personable, the events team are responsive and accomodating. Would hilighy recommending using the veunue due to its mulitle rooms catering for a large audiance! Would hire and work with them again!
Hopefully I return and can give a rating that reflects 95% of the staff as well as the atmosphere of the venue, but unfortunately interation with the ABYSMALLY rude door lady with a few teeth missing has dampened my experience. She was incredibly rude, nasty and dismissive. My friend and I are artists and she was my guestlist +1 for a band tonight. I gave my name, and then hers - but I think I gave her artist name and so when I gave her actual name afterwards the lady became really rude, shushing me and shutting me down when i tried to speak - only speaking to my friend. The point she was missing is that I was the one who gave her name, so whether my friend gave her birthname or not, if it didn't match there was no point. i don't know if her attitude or rotting teeth offended me more to be quite honest. I remained poised and kept a smile on my face as to not stoop to her level, as she was nasty for no reason. Maybe consider replacing her with someone who represents the company a little better. Other than that, great night and polite door staff and bar staff. Really sorry that this lady has dragged down the review.
Amazing venue from start to finish. The security guy, Cullen is super welcoming. Cocktails are well crafted and not that expensive for London prices. Food was tasty. Definitely recommend
Went here for a gig tonight. We didn't eat but overall the atmosphere was pretty good. The venue is standing only and quite compact. There is a bar both inside the venue and in the main room.
