I absolutely loved this wonderfully quirky historic pub, tucked away just a short walk from London's theatre district. It boasts an impressive selection of gins, making it a great spot for gin lovers. Prices are about what you'd expect for central London—definitely not cheap, but not surprising either. We opted for the 3 dishes for £24 deal, and the food arrived incredibly quickly. The portions were very generous and perfect for sharing. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars for service is that there didn't seem to be anyone looking after the outside tables. We had to go inside twice to order drinks, and when we tried to order food indoors, we were told we had to order through the outside staff instead. That meant waving someone over to get served, which wasn't ideal. It also felt a bit cheeky to have an automatic 10% service charge added given the lack of table service. That said, the venue itself is fantastic, full of character, and somewhere I'd happily return to.

Very nice pub with very nice location! Service was very friendly and they tried to accommodate our desire to sit outside which in the beginning wasn’t possible but then we managed to switch from inside to outside when one of the tables became available. Fish & chips were ok but overall nice experience and good rest after long walk in the centre.

Amazing service at Fogg Tavern. The team could not have been more welcoming. The upstairs bar where we returned after dinner is a real highlight, with beautifully crafted cocktails, with a great theme names after cities in the World. The London is amazing! A perfect spot for drinks and conversations and relaxed evening. Downstairs really busy! Highly recommended for great drinks and nibbles and amazing atmosphere!

I have to admit, my expectations of this place were perhaps a little off. I had this venue appear in my feed quite a few times, recommended as being a great place for special occasions, etc, so it was on my list of places to visit. Perhaps Valentine’s Day was the wrong choice. It is definitely a charming venue with great character, but not really my definition of a special occasion such as a date with the wife. Drinks, including cocktails were certainly good, but Chas & Dave music was not what I had in mind for my special occasion. Please do come here to enjoy a drink with some nice pub food and old-school music, but perhaps look elsewhere for your special occasions 🙂

The service is super friendly, and it's a lovely traditional pub that offers a great variety of vegetarian snacks. The atmosphere is wonderful – you feel at home right away. The value for money is definitely justified. Highly recommended, I will be back.
