Visited here for our anniversary lunch and it was such a fabulous experience. The table was pre-booked but at that time during the week it was pretty empty. First off, the milk bread was glorious - served warm with soft butter and the mini burger bites. We then had the steak with was well-seasoned and cooked.
I visited the martini bar and it was amazing. Drinks were fantastic. The bar staff were very friendly. Unfortunately they said it’s been very quiet recently which is a true shame because it’s got great vibes and some of the better drinks I’ve had over the weekend.
#toast 629 — lovely brunch place located in Covent garden. It was a really nice place for a quiet catchup on a weekday afternoon. The interior of the restaurant is very wonderful and the food was done well. Service was great at the front reception but our waiters were a little cold/ distant. Aside from that, Christopher’s was lovely. Follow @nomkakaii on Instagram for more toast travels!
I visited here early last December with friends for brunch to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation since there was a large group of us, which made everything smooth from the start. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our visit. I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger with fries which was okay but not my favourite. However, the French toast was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of my meal. The staff kindly helped take photos for us, handled my birthday cake and cut it up into takeaway portions, packaging it neatly into separate bags for each of my friends. The ambience was also lovely and added to the overall experience. All in all I had a great time and a very positive experience.
Visited Christopher’s for lunch and dessert to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and as always, it didn’t disappoint. The food was lovely — we had the chicken burger, and the sauce was especially flavourful and really brought the dish together. The real standout, though, was the brioche French toast — consistently excellent and easily one of the best desserts on the menu. It was a nice touch having ‘Happy Birthday’ written on the plate, which made it feel special, even if it’s a shame they don’t do the sparklers anymore. The atmosphere was great, as it always is — lively, buzzing, and full of energy, which adds to the overall experience. A reliable spot for good food, great desserts, and a celebratory lunch.
