La Barca Ristorante
London
Recenzje
Once on the restaurant you are greeted by friendly staff. The restaurant itself is relaxed 😌 and has a good atmosphere. For starters l had Bruschetta followed by a very good Linguine Alle Vongole “ very tasty 🤤 “. Desert was Crepe Suzette- Grand Marina with a scoop of Ice-cream not only was it delicious to eat it was fun to watch it being made “ a show in itself “ which was enjoyed. All enjoyed with a good bote of Soave and a nice glass of Chianti.
You could amble past La Barca and not give it a second glance but that would be forgoing a very great pleasure. Both the food and service are excellent, if sometimes the staff can be a little distracted. I’ve never had a bad meal. My particular favourite is the veal Milanese. It isn’t cheap though so should probably be reserved for special occasions!
Hidden gem just outside of Waterloo station! We came here on a rainy evening without a reservation at around 6 pm and were very pleasantly surprised. Every dish was beautifully prepared and the service was next level!! Possibly the best service I've had in London for a long time. Our waiter Luigi was incredibly attentive, genuinely friendly and a wonderful host to a delightful evening. The restaurant quickly filled up and there was a queue outside by the time we left - will definitely come back!
The best Italian in London, The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying time with friends, and food is amazing. Seeing the dishes plated right in front of us made the experience extra special! I would love to visit again.
An uneven yet enjoyable dining experience. The starters were the clear highlight: outstanding fish dishes and exceptionally good spare ribs, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The main courses, while decent, lacked the final push to truly impress and felt somewhat underwhelming in comparison. Attentive service ensured a smooth evening, even if the kitchen’s strengths clearly lay in the starters. The already included 20%tip on the bill was surprising.
