St Christopher's Place

London

Iconic Shopping Streets Shopping

The entrance to St Christopher's Place on Oxford Street is marked by an overhanging purple and gold clock. Entering down an alleyway, the square is well concealed and gives the exciting impression of being somewhat secretive and exclusive. In this area of London you would have to go some way to find an area to rival the feeling of privacy and seclusion in St Christopher's Place.

Framed around a central Al fresco plaza, beautiful shops face outwards towards diners in the summertime and the mosaic fountain in the winter months. Whilst maintaining this lesser known dimension, the street also has some of the countries best known designer boutiques, including Mulberry and Whistles. There is also a Reiss, Jigsaw, H&M, Kurt Geiger and the fashionable newcomer The Kooples.

St Christopher's Place is not only for shopping but also for eating, with an eclectic mixture of well known family Italian eateries Carluccios and Pizza Express, as well as small coffee shops and sandwich stops like Pret A Manger.

Opening Times: Usual opening hours for shops (9.00-6.00) and restaurants are generally open till 23.00. See individual websites for more information.
