Its wine list has recently been revised and it offers cool, crisp champagnes and sparkling wines - Brut, Bollinger, and Chenin Blanc to name a few - which start at £28.50 a bottle, all the way up to £98 for a bottle of Bollinger. Half bottles of Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, or Rose are £14.50 each, while the wide range of reds and whites are about a fiver per glass and range from around £20 - £80 per bottle.
You certainly get what you pay for at Le Metro and its bright, colourful interiors keep the atmosphere upbeat and casual. For prolonged stays here, though, you can choose from food menus which include breakfasts, mains and desserts. Or, for true indulgence but without the prices of other London venues, afternoon tea is even an option, giving Le Metro yet another string to its bow.
