Located on Askew Road in Hammersmith, the Eagle pub is part of the great Geronimo Inns group scattered across London. All pubs offer a modern British menu accompanied by an international drinks menu. While each pub presents high standards in food and service, they are all individually designed and mediate their own distinct atmosphere.
Only fresh and fine and - whenever possible - locally sourced ingredients are used to prepare the all-time favourites as well as innovative and create dishes featured on the menu. Whether you go for poached pear and blue cheese salad with chicory, walnuts and sherry dressing, pan-Fried Goosenargh duck breast served with fennel puree and glazed roots or the roast stone bass fillet with spiced South Coast cockle butter, the dishes are well-presented and come in generous portions. The drinks menu presents rare and familiar wines chosen to complement the meals. While the wine list might change according to seasonality (and therefore the dishes), there is always the house wine available offered at £3.60 per glass.
If you cannot decide on either drink or dish, ask the friendly and attentive waiting staff. They are more than happy to help and open for a chat if the time allows it. With cosy and homely furniture, the Eagle is the ideal place to stop by for lunch, for an after work drink or for a night out with friends. It might not be the best place for a fine-dining experience, but that is not what the Eagle is about anyway - it's about hospitality, fun and relaxation.
