Words cannot describe how good these burgers are! I didn’t even have time to take a picture it was gone in seconds! Everything about the burger was amazing from the quality of the beef to the softness of the bun. I had the buffalo and garlic sauces, the flavours are out of this world! Without doubt the best burger I’ve ever had!
Delicious, perfectly juicy, if a little oily burger. This isn’t the first Black Bear Butger I’ve been to. The one at Westfield is more comfortable and spacious but if you’re after a more upmarket burger than the usual fast food spots this place is for you. I went for the double miso burger with bacon and it’s absolutely full of buttery miso umami saltines. Cooked to medium as the only option, the patties have a nice crust and juicy pink middle. Fries are decent too. For those who are saying the burgers here are ‘nothing special’ I do wonder about the comparison. By way of a comparison, there’s only one other small chain that’s on a par, and that’s Bleecker. Anyway, back to this place, great burgers, crispy fries. Actual location is a little cramped convenient being on the corner of Box Park. Would be good if there was a place to wash your hands. Service was with a smile and food was ready quickly.
I selected the double miso bacon burger, cooked medium. It was outstanding - the dry aged beef was cooked to perfection, the bacon crispy and the miso mayo complimented the melted cheese and onions perfectly. I have been looking for the best burger in London and this is definitely a contender. We had the chipotle BBQ wings, which were decent but nothing special. My wife and I shared the blue cheese and black bear burgers, which were both delicious as well, but for me the double miso bacon burger was the star.
Simply the best blue burger 🍔 I’ve had in a long time. I asked for medium cooked and it was simply perfection. The garlic Parmesan fries were 🤤 🫶🏼💗 can’t wait to try more from the menu!
Ordered the signature Black Bear burger and upgraded to a double patty. Very tasty — the steak was cooked fresh to order at medium rare, with a nice pink centre and super juicy. The double burger was quite tall, so it was a bit hard to eat in one go and we had to split it into two layers. The bun was soft with a lovely buttery flavour. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Prices are slightly on the higher side, and fries and drinks are charged separately, but definitely worth trying if you’re nearby.
