Everything tasted sensational, enjoyed all the seafood we ordered. I look forward to coming back. You have the option for the restaurant to debone certain fish you order or you do it yourself, order a couple of sides with your fish.
An excellent seafood experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The quality of the seafood was outstanding, and every dish was served beautifully. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the staff were professional, attentive, and friendly throughout the visit. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and definitely a place I would visit again. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!
Faber is a true local gem in Hammersmith. The food is always incredible, with amazingly fresh seafood and fantastic flavours. The service is warm, friendly, and attentive, making every visit a pleasure. It’s quickly becoming my favourite restaurant, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
I regret not coming here sooner. Didn't know a fabulous seafood restaurant like this exist in Hammersmith. The ambiance is cosy, warm and minimalist elegant, the service friendly and attentive. Loved the trout tartare as starter - brilliantly simple and sauced - and the obviously fresh grilled sole was delicious. And then there was the flank steak, which was also perfectly cooked and tender. The lemon tart rounded off our meal nicely. Will definitely be back here to try some other fruits of the sea.
Been wanting to try Faber wine and seafood for a while and our visit didn’t disappoint, although it didn’t excite as much as we would have liked. We tried the oyster platter to kick off and while the cold variety were expectedly fresh and crispy the topping did over power a little. The fried oyster was also a little too cooked and was a little dry and didn’t have the juicy bite within. The tacos were fun and had a good balance of flavours and zing to it. The grilled fish with chilli sauce was tasty but also a little overdone for our liking. Not to say it was dry, it was juicy inside, but lacking a moistness within and the sauce didn’t pack as much heat or flavour as we’re expecting. But overall we did have an enjoyable meal but next time we might stick more to the fresh seafood and not mix it up too much.
