Themes and the London Eye. The staff are polite and friendly. The breakfast menu was delicious; my favorite is the Eggs Royale. Many thanks to Chef Omar for the food and to Ankita for the friendly service during breakfast.
Amazing dinner at this steakhouse. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. The goat cheese salad was fresh and well-balanced, with creamy cheese that paired beautifully with the crisp greens. The soya salmon was another standout, perfectly cooked with a rich, savoury glaze that was delicious. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service from Nira made a fantastic dining experience. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Instagram @dininginlondon
We had a wonderful dining experience at Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish cooked to perfection and full of flavour. A special thank you to our lovely waitress, Nira, who provided outstanding service throughout the afternoon. She was warm, friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Her professionalism and genuine care added so much to our experience. Excellent food, exceptional service, and a fantastic atmosphere. We would highly recommend Gillray’s and look forward to returning on our next visit to London.
We had a lovely pre-theatre dinner here. The service was excellent and very professional, and the view over the river added to the experience. The ambiance was relaxed and just what we were hoping for. The restaurant is located inside the Marriott Hotel on the South Bank at County Hall, which makes it a convenient spot before a show. The food was delicious and good value for the quality. Would happily return.
Stopped in along the way for a latè and a bite to eat. The food was as you would expect in such a hotel. The atmosphere was very calm and casual. The staff were the winners though. Right from the first person who greeted us everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We said we were there for afternoon tea not realising what that would lead to, the "afternoon tea". Since we were after a quick bite the staff quickly realized the mistake and showed us to Gillray's. In doing so he suggested we take a particular seat which has the Big Ben view. Cheers bro, good tip. Really enjoyed it despite paying $30AUD for two latès🤭, but they were really good latès. Thanks guys you all helped to make it a really good day.
