Decades ago, my partner and I flew thousands of miles from democratic Taiwan — a nation overshadowed by its neighbouring superpower — to pursue peace by studying anthropology and psychology at a research institute in London. Now, we are a family of three revisiting this vibrant city. This is our first visit to Megan's Kensington, and we are here for our first weekend lunch in London this summer. The food is superb. We were fortunate to be served by Govinda, who was extremely helpful and hospitable. He kindly provided us with everything we needed, from brown sugar for our English tea to extra plates to help us share our food. I thank God for our wonderful experience at Megan's in Kensington, and I pray that God will bless Govinda and help the restaurant flourish.
One of my favorite meals in London! I stumbled upon Megan’s on a walk and it was exactly what I was looking for: awesome ambiance, comfortable seating, delicious food. I liked trying the dips and meze options. My favorite were the spinach & feta parcels (with pistachio and honey!) and the falafel and hummus is usually “whatever” at Mediterranean restaurants, but the falafel here was my favorite dish! Great flavors (onion, mint) so surprising and delightful. The only thing that would have made the experience better is if they offered Non-alcoholic wine options. Please add to your offering!
Lovely food, great cocktails and a really nice atmosphere. We came to Megan’s during happy hour and tried a few different cocktails, all of which were delicious. The Turkish dishes were also excellent, we especially enjoyed the kebab and Turkish fondue. Perfect place for a relaxed dinner with friends.
I popped in for lunch while catching up on a bit of work, so it doubled as a temporary office for an hour or two. The welcome was prompt and friendly, and I was shown to a convenient corner table that was perfect for working. The seat was comfortable, although it sat a little lower than I would have liked in relation to the table (and I’m not exactly short!), which felt slightly unusual. Sanju looked after me throughout my visit and was fantastic. They recommended a drink, explained some of the menu options, and provided attentive, friendly service from start to finish. I chose the Easy Green Juice, the Classic Kebab with chargrilled chicken, and the za’atar house fries. The food was delicious, colourful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of flavour throughout. Overall, a very enjoyable experience with excellent service and great food. I’ll definitely be returning.
I love love love this place. We stumbled upon it during our first day in london. We ordered Lamb and Naan as well as Calamari. Super good! The ambiance is very nice, mediterranean theme and gives a fresh vibe. Worth a visit and would defo come back again.
