I came here for the 1st time and enjoyed this he surrounding as the restaurant had lots of seating. I ordered Fish & Chips Cod with TarTar sauce. It was enjoyable and I finished the whole plate.
Absolutely fantastic fish and chips! The fish was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter and fresh, flaky fish inside. The chips were golden, fluffy, and full of flavour. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service from start to finish. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely atmosphere, done up like a old fashioned 50s and 60s American rock n roll Dina with the old 50s & 60ss music in the back ground making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal. If you're visiting Greenwich and looking for authentic British fish and chips, Pop'n Pier is definitely worth a visit. Great food, great service, and excellent value for money. I'll definitely be coming back!
Had a really good experience in this restaurant. We had fish chips sausage and a fish cake. And the food was amazing! Cod was nice golden and the food was not oily but pleasant. And to our surprise the food was Halal! Everything is halal except the pies.
I’m so mad at myself for living right down the road from this restaurant for donkey’s years and never realizing I need to visit! Anyway, finally did and they’re great - the fries are made out of real potatoes! And it’s homemade Tartare sauce. What’s not to like in a 126-year fish n chips outlet?
Great place! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Very reasonable prices and portions so big it’s almost impossible to finish them! The interior is surprisingly cozy and beautifully decorated — and for a fish & chips spot, there’s absolutely no smell of frying oil, which is amazing. Thanks for a wonderful time!
