We had dinner at Scoff & Banter and were really impressed. The fish and chips were excellent—the fish was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter, and the chips were hot and flavorful. The mashed peas were fresh, creamy, and paired perfectly with the meal. To finish, we had the mango cheesecake, and it was the highlight of the evening. It was smooth, creamy, and had a fresh mango flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. It was the perfect dessert to end the meal. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. I’d definitely recommend Scoff & Banter to anyone looking for a great meal in London, and I’d happily come back again.
What a wonderful restaurant as nd lounge. We frequented it every day. It's beautifully and creatively appointed, but most of all, the service is impeccable and the food of the highest quality. Mahesh Roswald expertly manages the restaurant and bar. No matter how busy it is, you are not overlooked. Mahesh and his staff of professionals tend to your every need. And the bartending is outstanding. There is no cocktail that they cannot make, plus they have their own stable of signature cocktails. Questions about wine? No problem; they'll make excellent recommendations. This was such an enhancement to our experience in the hotel. Stay in this hotel and experience a perfect lounge. We will stay here again.
I’ve been to London before and I’ve eaten at many places. Been here for 4 days and every dinner has been here. I was told the name of the chef is Gregory. He must cook with love because every dinner meal has been perfect. I’ve had fish and chips from several places and always soggy. From his fish and chips (better than any place I’ve tried) perfectly crispy to the wagyu burger cooked well, to the butter chicken, I have not been disappointed. My server was Prasant, and every server has been very pleasant, very helpful.

Everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, making the overall dining experience feel premium without being pretentious. Service was another strong point. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. They made us feel comfortable throughout the evening and were happy to offer recommendations, especially when it came to pairing food with cocktails. The ambiance deserves special mention—it strikes a perfect balance between elegant and cosy. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with friends, or even for a business meal, it fits all occasions. Overall, Scoff & Banter Kensington is a fantastic spot for a memorable evening out. Great cocktails, delicious food, and excellent service make it a place I would happily return to and recommend to others.
Mahesh and Yulian were amazing. Came in right before closing when no other restaurant was open and they gladly served me even though the kitchen was closed. These two guys were some of the nicest I’ve met! They even gave me tips on what to do in the area, and made me feel so welcome. I ordered the fish and chips and they were the best I’ve ever had. The service here is un matchable and I highly recommend. Thank you guys very much!
